University of Zaragoza publishes a study on OEE in our injection molding machines
The international specialized journal Journal of Manufacturing and Materials Processing has published a study on how Overall Equipment Effectiveness(OEE) can be used as a strategic performance indicator in smart manufacturing.
The research, carried out by Sonia Val, from the Department of Design and Manufacturing Engineering of the University of Zaragoza, has been developed during 14 months on one of our plastic injection molding machines. The paper confirms the value of OEE as a KPI to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in advanced industrial environments.
Throughout the study, the analysis of production data allowed us to identify opportunities for improvement that have helped us to optimize our processes and achieve performance levels very close to international benchmarks.
